建築基地位於台灣台東，前方面向都市線型公園綠帶，背倚鯉魚山腳，側邊銜接環城自行車綠線。在山海與城市交會的場域條件下，本案試圖重新定義停車場的角色，使其不僅回應機能需求，也成為閱讀城市地景的一種方式。週末期間，大量觀光人潮湧入，使原有平面停車空間不足；平日時段需求則顯著降低。面對假日瞬間高峰與平日低使用率的反差，我們提出雙重策略，一方面回應高峰停車需求，另一方面使場地在非高峰時段轉化為可被市民使用的開放場域。

不只是停車場，而是用停車場來閱讀一座城市

停車場因此成為一座隨時間切換功能的城市平台，透過使用狀態的轉變，映照出台東獨特的生活節奏與觀光脈動。

The project is located in Taitung, Taiwan, facing an urban linear green park, backed by Liyu Mountain, and adjacent to a circular bicycle greenway. Within this landscape where city and nature converge, the design redefines the parking lot as more than infrastructure—it becomes a medium for reading the city. On weekends, a surge of tourists exceeds the capacity of the existing surface parking; during weekdays, demand drops significantly. In response to this contrast between peak and off-peak periods, two complementary strategies are proposed: accommodating high parking demand while transforming the site into an accessible public ground during quieter times. More than a parking lot, it is a way to read the city through parking. The project thus operates as a time-based urban platform, reflecting Taitung’s distinctive rhythm of daily life and tourism.
