想法放大室

想法放大室位於偏鄉小學中,面對少子化與教育資源不足的挑戰,我們重新思考學習空間的角色。設計靈感來自學校以地方為本的教學理念,鼓勵學生透過討論與真實環境互動來達成學習的目的。因此我們透過可移動物件、可書寫牆面與開放式空間,讓學生能隨著課程主題自由調整學習場域,從個人思考延伸至群體對話,甚至走入社區行動。不同於傳統教室強調單向授課,這個空間鼓勵學生主動表達、累積與擴展彼此的想法,培養自主學習與合作精神。想法放大室的創新在於有限的空間中,創造出不同尺度的討論情境,使用上更積極與外部空間和資源連結,讓教室成為介入社區活動的伸展台。

Mindstorm Lab is situated in a rural elementary school, where challenges such as declining enrollment and limited educational resources prompted a reexamination of the role of learning spaces. Drawing inspiration from the school’s place-based teaching philosophy, the design encourages students to learn through dialogue and interaction with the real environment. Movable furniture, writable walls, and an open layout allow the space to flexibly adapt to different learning scenarios—shifting from individual reflection to group discussion, and even extending into community engagement.

Unlike traditional classrooms centered on one-way instruction, this space empowers students to express, build upon, and expand their ideas—fostering self-directed learning and collaboration. The innovation of Mindstorm Lab lies in its ability to create discussion environments across scales within a limited space. It actively connects with outdoor areas and community resources, transforming the classroom into a platform that reaches beyond its walls and into the life of the surrounding community.
